My new graphics card arrived in the post. I was very impressed as I only ordered it on Saturday and it has already arrived! Amazon rule! I plugged it in and expected some problems with Vista but no it worked and after a restart I have the new Aero looks now! I must admit it does look damn good!

The problem started when I tested the new card with Linux openSuse. For some reason the GUI (Graphical User Interface) refused to load. I’ve been playing with a live version of Linux Ubuntu for a while and I decided that today will be the day I install it. I’m highly impressed with it. The time it took for me to shower it installed. It seams so much more responsive that openSuse ever did. Also it found codecs for my movie files very quickly. So if you’re looking for an alternative to Micro$soft Windows then I strongly advise Ubuntu. But Aero in Vista does look pretty…….
