I didn’t have time to write about this, in the morning but I’m very excited by this news.

Dell, who is quite a large distributor (if not the largest of PCs) will start to ship some of their PCs with Ubuntu Linux installed already. This also means that they will profit from the technical support on these machines. However as a user who has just switched to Ubuntu I do not think they will have many calls due the fact that Ubuntu is very stable and easy to use, not to mention that it has a huge following in its support forums.

In the future I plan to write some reasons why I prefer Ubuntu over openSuse 10.2 which is the only other Linux distro I have used but for now why don’t you go over to Ubuntu’s website and see for yourself why this really is a real alternative to windows……
